Since 1945, Boys' Haven of America, Inc. has been a cornerstone of support for at-risk youth in Southeast Texas. Our newest initiative, the Journey House Transitional Living Program, recently marked an exciting milestone! Since its launch in November 2023, Journey House has been providing a safe, supportive environment for young men transitioning from foster care, juvenile justice programs, or other unstable living situations.
Journey House serves young men ages 18–24, offering residential and comprehensive supportive services designed to foster independence. Within a structured and nurturing environment, participants develop vital life skills, pursue educational goals, and gain career readiness to build self-sufficient futures. Our mission is rooted in empowering these young men to overcome life’s challenges and thrive as responsible, self-reliant members of society. Join us NEXT Saturday at Classic Chevrolet for the Hot Summer Nights Car Show.
The largest car show in SETX is back! WHEN? Saturday August 3rd from 5 - 9pm! Awards will be given at 8pm. Registration starts at 3pm if you want to drop your vehicle off and come back when the show starts. WHERE? At the Classic Southeast Texas Buick GMC Pre-Owned lot. WHY? Proceeds will directly benefit Boys Haven and the Shorkey Center. There will be live music, food, drinks, and tons of fun for the whole family! |
